Alberto Ortega Rodas
Alberto Ortega Rodas (Seville, Spain, 1976) received his Master of Fine Arts from the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de Santa Isabel de Hungria, of the University of Seville, Spain. He specialized in painting and traditional painting techniques. While completing the final years of his degree, he focused on the genre of landscapes and urban landscapes in particular, for which he received numerous awards, including grants from the Andalusian Government and the Talens Foundation of Spain. His work can be found in private collections in Europe and the United States, as well as in several public collections in Spain such as the City Council of Seville, the City Council of Alcalá de Guadaíra, and the Aparejadores Foundation of Seville. In 2008, he moved to Raleigh, where he currently resides. His studio is located at 311 West Martin Street.
