Bill Koeb
My goal with students has been to offer challenges and instruction, and let them discover a process for making art that elevates them to create work beyond their perceptions. I have had great happiness at seeing the students grow from the experience and seeing them learn something in the process. Making art, in whatever form it takes is a process of doing something that is both exciting and frightening. What I have tried to do is create an environment where the students feel safe enough to take risks, and work in a supportive yet challenging environment. Bill Koeb was born in Los Angles, California. As an instructor he began in the early 1990’s teaching sequential art, beginning illustration, experimental illustration, and digital illustration. While doing so he also served as an MFA advisor to students studying graphic design, multi-media design, sequential art, editorial illustration, drawing, and painting. He had shown in New York, California, and Raleigh. He had numerous publications and currently he is showing in Flanders Art Gallery.
