Jason Craighead
Jason Craighead studied at Florida State University.
He had numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout the Southeastern United States.
He has received numerous awards and served as a juror for various art shows.
He is currently represented by Somerhill Gallery in Chapel Hill , NC , Broadhurst Gallery in Pinehurst , NC ,
Anne Irwin Fine Art in Atlanta , GA and Bucks Gallery of fine Art Newtown , PA.
In these sessions the artist will learn to move freely and aggressively,
gaining touch and exploring the weight of line and space without fear of "mistakes". The beginner or intermediate artist will learn to consider line and space and the power of the scribble. The experienced artist will find this to be a wonderful exercise in letting ones mind. How to think and grow and realizing what it means to you to make work and how to bring it out of yourself. In his class each artist will be exploring their ability to separate the process of making work from systematic thinking. This is an exercise in healthy thinking and artistic growth meant for intermediate and experienced artists.
