Tim Kiernan
Tim Kiernan is a local filmmaker and freelance designer, who has worked with video, film, and photography for over ten years. After Graduating with a dual degree in Art & Design and Mass Communication from NC State, he went on to produce a documentary film with a grant from The Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University. Upon completion, it was screened at the NC Museum of Art. He helped to build the video department at Capstrat and worked for over three years at Red Hat as a video designer. Currently he splits his time between working with local companies to develop their video branding, and his video art practice. He has taught animation techniques at NC State Design School and trained many people to go on to make their own videos. His work has been shown at NC State, The Block Gallery, Raleigh City Museum, and Design Box.
