Will Goodyear
Will Goodyear is a Raleigh, NC based artist who's work utilizes a variety of materials and techniques to explore various political, economic and social narratives. He received a Masters of Fine Art in painting and drawing from East Carolina University where he taught undergraduate painting, drawing and design classes as well as marching percussion. Will is represented by Adam Cave Fine Art in Raleigh. His mixed media painting class will encourage students to use non-traditional materials and alternative processes to create aesthetic variety in their work. This fast paced, low stress method of painting offers students the ability to create visual and physical depth in a short period of time. In addition to investigating the mechanics of painting, students will be encouraged to recognize aspects of culture that inspire their work and improve upon their ability to communicate those ideas to the viewer.
